Who We Are
Bilays International Exporters Ltd is a leading meat distributor in Kenya incorporated in 2015. Our core business is livestock production and marketing that includes livestock slaughter, livestock products (Halal meats) which could be exported to end users in the Middle East and Far East, West and Northern Africa. We also supply to local markets.
Our quality requirements start with the selection of the best young healthy steers. Important criteria for animals include elements such as farming, feeding methods and breed. We have defined clear, strict rules for the procurement of live animals for export and slaughter. This could mean preparing the animals in feed lots/ ranch for a period of time before final export to the end user services we offer.
Our commitment to consistent quality and customer delivery is our highest priority.
Most of the livestock are kept in pastoral Arid Semi-Arid Land (ASAL) regions which provide 60% of the livestock population in the country, contributes to 40% of agricultural GDP and 12% of Kenyan GDP. The livestock sector employs 50% of the agricultural labour force.
